A further update on the game, we got some news that Taris will be many of the planets that you would revisit in the upcoming Star Wars The Old Republic. The general history as you would know from the Knights of the Old Republic if you had read the comics or played the game, this is where Revan escaped with Bastila Shan and Carth Onasi from the Sith blockade during the Revan-Malak war.

Taris was many of the first planets to fall in the hands of Darth Malak and his reign of terror. However, as three hundred years have progressed into the current timeline it has left the Republic with a goal to restore Taris to its former glory but the Sith are intending to prevent that from happening. Adventurers from both Sith and Jedi are expected to find a lot of interesting characters and quests that would give the player a few choices that would either determine the fate of Taris. No doubt you will get to see how Taris is rebuilding and see the changed landscape after all these years.
