We would like to personally thank all the members of the Old Republic Knights (ORK) crew for continuing thier support and keeping in touch with the community over the years. Recently in the year 2010 we have heard not much progress has made with the new Star Wars The Old Republic game by Bioware and it has forced the ORK Admnistration to undergo a lenghtly timed redevelopment as the year progresses.

The forums of ORK will be reopened around late December 2010, along with the expectation that The Old Republic game would be released sometime early 2011.

This website fansite community and forum will not be closed down permanently and will still remain active in the meantime to keep in touch base with the progression of the new Star Wars online game and there will be the Knights of the Old Republic fanfiction written by one of our members who would continue to publish it on a monthly basis. The fanfiction will be based on the good side ending that surround the character Revan to the pure speculation of what happened to the Prodigal Knight and his own fate.

Furthermore the members of this community will no doubt be signing up to join and form a clan of our own whenever the game is pre-released, we do have a good expectation to actively roleplay and work as a team completing missions or talking lively with one another either on the game or possibly using Ventrilo. Perhaps a similar experience to those World of Warcraft game players too.

So far there has been enough speculation about what happened to Revan but there has been no mention of the Jedi Exile from the Star Wars comics by Dark Horse on the main The Old Republic website. It is believed that the key character named Satele Shan is the decendant daughter of Bastila Shan, however the storyline suggests that Satele Shan was also the decendant of Revan as well. Under this author's thoughts about admiring the two courageous characters that I, amongst many other Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) players believed that Bastila and Revan no doubt had fallen in love and formed a family of thier own.

However with the bits and pieces in between the three century timeline gap after the Revan-Malak war had ended to Revan's own disappearance and the Treaty of Coruscant, everyone would agree that anything could have happened in between that certain timeframe. My thoughts would be that the Jedi Exile and Revan probably had their own personal encounters with the real so-called true threat, fought and lost. Although with the speculation of what happened with Bastila's relationship with her lover Revan, and how Satele Shan will of course will be as of yet to be revealed moreso on the Old Republic Knights game itself. It is most likely looking at that Revan and Bastila did have a decendant, and how Bastila Shan survived the Jedi Purge timeframe still has not yet been explained.

I would like to think that the writers for the game would somehow include more possible assumptions surrounding the history of Satele Shan, even though it sounded like she is the main character of the game. Truth to be told we don't know about that yet and only can sit back and watch at this point of time.
