DarkHorse and Bioware have finally released the first issue of the new webcomic on the Star Wars The Old Republic website called "Blood of the Empire"

The Blood of the Empire storyline takes place where the galaxy in the Unknown Regions and outer rim is at war where the Sith Empire has already begun their invasion towards Republic space, blow after blow the Sith Empire continues to press on the attack while the Jedi Order scramble their best Jedi heroes to the frontlines to defend any Republic holdings.

The first issue called Shades of the Sith have been released, revealing a clever young man as a Sith apprentice who has been selected to carry out and perform a secretive mission that concerns the Emperor himself and the threat to the Dark Lord's thousand-year plan. You are introduced to Teneb Kel who is the main character for the Blood of Empire storyline, you will get to see new heroes, villians revelations about the Emperor cabal.
