Satele Shan (as seen from The Old Republic game)

The legendary Satele Shan, the Youngist Grand Master of the Jedi Order and Leader of the Jedi High Council

Satele Shan is the decendent of Bastila Shan and is closely linked to Revan for the blood in her veins. Satele Shan was a Padawan to Master Dar'Nala, however her service as a Jedi Knight began at the peace talks on Alderaan before the Sacking of Coruscant. Satele Shan had developed such a headstrong talent to make her Jedi powers grow and improve on her Battle Meditation ability. Prior to the Treaty on Coruscant and the aftermath, Satele was a Jedi Knight who fought for the survival of the Jedi Order despite of the Sith's betrayal.

Satele survived many of her own temptations to the dark side where she knew that a Jedi's emotion to love or care for her companions is forbidden in the Jedi Code. She was thrown onto the edge against many dark choices against her but continued to fight what she believed in, and that was what the Jedi Order had fought for many years, Peace and Order. Eventually Satele started to learn more about her past, despite of her Master's death, Satele continued to trust in the Force and believed the Jedi Order will survive.

"Your friends can go, Satele, but you should stay. If Darth Revan's blood flows through your veins, you belong with us."
~ Sith Lord Baras to Satele

During the deadly clash against the Sith Lord Baras, the Sith Lord attempted to persuade Satele to join the Sith as the time of the Jedi Order has passed but Satele refused and continued to fight for the light and freedom. From there on in, Satele Shan had made her choice to continue to fight for the restoration of the Republic and stop the Sith.  After her confrontration with Lord Baras, Satele fled with her companions but realise there is still a lot of work that had to be done as they battle against the Sith, hoping to rally any allies and Jedi survivors that would be able to defeat them.

Satele Shan's affiliation with the Jedi Council had made her a valuable member to the Jedi Order's High Council where she eventually became a Jedi Master, renowned for her strong connection to the Force, wisdom and yet she is the voice of the Jedi Order. Satele fell into the role of becoming the first and youngist Grand Jedi Master of the Jedi Order and the leader that could have made mother, Bastila Shan, proud of her own daughter. Her personality is unlike Bastila Shan's arrogant and brash history, yet Satele is quite approachable and does have a warm demeanor, except her greatest strength and determination are the future Jedi heroes for the Jedi Order.

The resemblence of Satele Shan is like her mother Bastila Shan, however the connection is closely linked that Revan was the father of the bloodline. It makes sense now that Revan's involvement with Bastila and to the part of the speculation that Kreia mentioned to the Exile from Knights of the Old Republic II that the male Revan could have reasoned with 'her' (implied as Bastila) on how he had to leave her behind, there was a strong connection.

Under the Aurebesh translation though the words, it can be interpreted as "Jedi exiled her mother," "Blood of Revan," and "a secret son" however, this does have a lot of theories that could lead to several speculations. Revan and Bastila did had something together that embarked the beginning of the Shan family tree where Bastila Shan herself after her redemption and Revan was her hero.

"You aren't afraid to love anymore?"
"After this? No, nothing could make me safer than to be loved by you."
"Good luck my love... and May the Force be with you."
~ Bastila and Revan

We can definitely say that Satele Shan has the bloodline of her decendant Bastila Shan, also Revan. Although this has not yet been confirmed that Revan was the father, Star Wars fans are led to believe that this could have been the case until LucasArts suggested otherwise. However we are hoping that Bioware would shed some light to imply that Revan had some involvement with it.
