One of the True Sith Lords, who first appeared after 300 long years of waiting and had finally returned. Veradun was the former name of this Sith Lord born on the planet Dromund Kaas before falling into the dark side and reborn as Darth Malgus. His famous kill was Jedi Ven Zallow.

Darth Malgus is considered to be one of the most interesting characters in the Old Republic timeline, he is part of the Dark Council and considered to be of military genius. He is a fierce warrior but also had shared his own selfish love and desire with an alien lover, except treated her more as a wife than slavery. The Sith Lord's wife had served with him during most of the successful campaigns at his side, including the fall of the Jedi Temple during the major operation, Sacking of Coruscant.

Darth Maglus is quite an unusual character where the Sith Lord had walked away from the politics and power games of the Sith Empire after the Treaty of Coruscant had been signed, his journey took him to the Unknown Regions where he led the Sith Empire military on expedition missions conquering new territories and furthering the influence of the Empire as a whole.

 The history of this dark hero for the Sith Empire has gotten Star Wars critics and its fans wondering what is this Dark Lords true power in the Force though, speculation arises that aside from the fasionable Sith Lightning effects and the basic Jedi tricks of mind tricks, pulling, pushing, crushing peoples throats and of course the general Force persuasion will always be at any Sith/Jedi disposal. The question remains is like many Sith Lords we have come across, will there ever be that someone would replace him? Star Wars fans understand that when you play as the Sith though, you will get to taste more of the dark side but there might be a point where the Sith player would get the opportunity to overthrow or battle against any of the Sith Lords for supremacy. Then again, if that were the case, what does the Dark Lord of the Sith mean to the player? To us, the Dark Lord of the Sith is just a title and figurehead leading the Sith Empire except, the fact remains that the Dark Council have a Sith Emperor who's name has not yet been made known.
